Anjool Malde

Anjool Malde
(born 7 July, 1984, died ) was an Oxford graduate, stockbroker for Deutsche Bank in London, co-owner of nightclub entertainment company AlphaParties Ltd, and a former BBC journalist. He leapt to his death from the eighth-floor of the restaurant near the Bank of England on 5 July 2009.
Malde graduated from Oxford University, where he was involved in The Oxford Union, United Nations, Oxford Entrepreneurs, and came #2 in the awards 2005. His academic work covering education and black underachievement in UK and South Africa was published by The Guardian, BBC News, and he interviewed former President of South Africa FW de Klerk.
At BBC he was a presenter on BBC Radio Oxford, interviewed musicians including Geri Halliwell, Pharrell Williams, The Beatnuts and Killa Kela, and reviewed films, music and nightclubs. Previously he was News Editor at The Oxford Student, where he broke a civil war in Bhutan story to the international media .
