Angelo Casciello (born 1957) is an Italian sculptor and painter. He is one of the member of the Empathic Movement (Empathism). Biography He graduated in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, a pupil of the painter Domenico Spinosa. He also followed a sculpture course directed by the sculptor Arnaldo Pomodoro. He has participated at Biennale di Venezia, three times, and at many other exhibitions. He also received many awards. He has been quoted in the volume by Vittorio Sgarbi (edited by), La scultura del Novecento in Italia, in Enciclopedia Universale dell'Arte (Mondadori: 1990); in Gillo Dorfles, Ultime tendenze nell'arte oggi (Feltrinelli: 1999) and in Vittorio Sgarbi (edited by), Lo Stato dell’Arte / Campania 54 Biennale di Venezia (Skira publishing: 2011). In 2018 the Parco Archeologico di Pompei held an exhibition of his work. In 2024 the Villa Campolieto held an exhibtion of his work.
