Andrew R Crow

Andrew R. Crow is a Canadian scientist. He discovered the mechanism of action of intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIg) in the treatment of all autoimmune diseases. Based on this discovery, his laboratory has developed new replacement therapies for IVIg. Crow has published over 15 peer reviewed papers.
Subsequently, his work in the field of medical research garnered Crow the Ontario Premier's Award for Technology in 2006.
Crow graduated from Seneca College's Biological Research Technology Programme in 1988, and is a Senior Research Assistant with the Canadian Blood Services, located at St. Michael's Hospital.
