Andrew Criss

Andrew Criss (born 1969) is an American artist. He graduated from the University of Texas in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and worked as an art director, illustrator, designer and actor before concentrating full-time on painting.
Criss is based in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, and regularly exhibits his work at Gallery Plan B in Washington, D.C., and the Peninsula Gallery in Lewes, Delaware. His work has also been featured in gallery and museum exhibitions across the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. In 2006, he was the recipient of the Delaware Division of the Arts’ Individual Fellowship for Painting.
Nancy Alexander, director of the Rehoboth Art League, described the artist in these terms: "Criss is an amazingly flexible artist. He's known for his wonderful portraits - and when I discovered his landscapes, I was surprised and delighted."
