Amy Juergens is the main character from the American television series The Secret Life of the American Teenager. She is played by Shailene Woodley. She is currently about 4 months pregnant with the child of Ricky Underwood, someone who got her pregnant from having sex one night at band camp. At first, she tries to get an abortion, but changes her mind and decides to keep the baby. She is best friends with Lauren and Madison, who accidentally start a rumor of Amy's pregnancy. Finally, in the 6th episode, Amy tells her mother, Anne, and then her father, George, both of whom are angry at first, but in later episodes, they are not mad at her anymore and have moved on. Amy has a younger sister named Ashley, who finds out about Amy's pregnancy and helps her hide it.
