AMM v HXW EWHC 2457 (QB) was a 2010 legal case in England where an anonymised privacy injunction was obtained. Discontinuation of injunction In 2011 the broadcaster Jeremy Clarkson discontinued the injunction and volunteered that he was the individual who took out the injunction. It could therefore be revealed that injunction concerned an allegation that Jeremy Clarkson had an affair with his ex-wife Alexandra Hall after he had remarried. Mr Clarkson denied the affair and alleged that his ex-wife was attempting to blackmail him. An unusal aspect of the case is that it is a "false privacy" case in that Mr Clarkson denies the affair ever took place but took out an injunction. |
