Sheikh Abduljabbar Nasiru Kabara (2 July 1970) is the charismatic leader of Qadiriyya Riyadul Janna Muslim organization in Nigeria. One of the most prominent children of famous Sufi Order scholar, Late Nasiru Kabara, fiery Abduljjabbar commands a large following of disciples in West Africa, especially in his base, the ancient city of Kano. Sheikh Abduljabbar, a scholar who dedicates his life to research on various fields of Islamic knowledge and propagation of the authentic principle of the religion, is a gifted oratory with amazing command of Arabic language among others. A great poet and author of many books, mostly published in Arabic, Dr Abduljabbar is also an excellent debater on contending issues in Islamic jurisprudence. He has lately been in the vanguard of revisiting true teachings of the Holy Prophet of Islam, Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him, which he said is the only lasting solution to terrorism among Muslim that’s currently devastating the Muslim world. He has particularly points accusing fingers to Salaf, Wahabi ideology for the bellicosity that’s bedeviling the Muslim world. In one of the series of his lectures, which is widely circulated on various media, Dr Abduljabbar diagnosed the root cause of Muslim terrorism and insisted that the only way to fight the menace is through waging wat against the books that teach it . "The virus is not thus coming from the brains of the terrorists but from their books as attested to by one of them." For instance by citing how Muhammad Bin Abdulwahab boasted that no Muslim understood the connotation of Kalimatu asshahada (the nucleus of belief in Islam) before him, as reported in Aldurrar al-saniyya, Dr Abduljabbar is in the opinion that Muslims should not look elsewhere for the cause of their crisis. Accusing Ibn Abdulwahab of grandstanding, Dr Abduljjabr argues that there was no way the mediaeval scholar would boast of knowing Islam more than his teachers like Sheikh Suleiman Alkurdi. According to pronouncement of Kalima is considered to be the number unifying factor among the over 1.5 billion Muslims in the world but not so in Salaf/Wahabi ideology that the Kalima since it is not considered sufficient enough to make one a Muslim. "This is the bone of contention and the center of gravity to what the world is facing today". Dr. Abduljabbar is of the view that the understanding of Ibn Wahab, the leader of Islamic takfirism, is clearly contrary to the view of Saád bin Malik, a companion of the Prophet, who famously stated that "I cannot kill a Muslim". In Islam, nothing is as valuable as blood after faith, according to him stressing that what he meant by blood is the blood of all and sundry, including the blood of non-Muslims is sacrosanct.
