Amirmahdi Farzin

Amirmahdi "Iman" Farzin (; Born 29 January 1988 in Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian sports executive and administrator, sports photographer, broadcasting executive, former team official of Iran national beach soccer team and former member of the Asian Football Confederation. He also is the regional manager of FIBA since 2017, after he left working for the AFC for eight years.
Disclosures
In 2020, he accused the Iranian Football Federation of forging documents to deceive the Asian Football Confederation to obtain a professional license for Iranian clubs. This accusation was later denied by the officials of the Iranian Professional Football League Organization.
In October of 2020, he controversially announced that Carlos Queiroz get paid by some Iranian players to invite them to the Iran national football team, and some of those players has been participated in FIFA World Cup and AFC Asian Cup.
In 2021, He appointed as head of the Iranian Basketball Federation's International Committee. Short time before, he disclosured about the corruptions of sports in Iran and assignment of unprofessional heads and managers in an interview with Etemad Daily.
In an interview with the Knight Ridder Newspaper in 2007, he mentioned the friendship of Iranian and American people and said their politics and their support for the American Basketball Players in Iran are separated.
2016 Summer Olympic Games
Iman Farzin appointed as the Rio 2016 Olympic Games Operations Officer and officiated as the only Iranian executive in operations for Badminton at the 2016 Summer Olympics accredited by the Rio 2016 Local Organizing Committee.

In 2007, He was praised for his 2nd prize winner award of the AFC Asian Cup 2007 photo contest in Malaysia.
