American Technologies Network Corporation (ATN Corp.) is an American company specialized on manufacturing night vision devices, day optics and thermal imaging systems. ATN Corp. was founded in 1979. It's product assortment includes goggles, binoculars, monoculars, rifle scopes, fusion imaging systems, security thermal cameras and accessories.
Products
ATN Corp. offers over 150 models.
* Monoculars (a night vision device which allows people to see in dimly lit conditions).
* Goggles (eyeglasses that are closely fitted and aim to protect the eye).
* Binoculars (binoculars which are used in low-light environments, allowing the user of the binoculars to see more clearly).
* Weapon Sights (a night vision device that is mounted on the weapon and is able to see in low-light or dark environments).
* Thermal Night Vision (the means by which people see in the infrared portion of the spectrum).
* Night Vision Flashlights
Night vision applications are used in paintball, camping, boating, fire and rescue, homeland security, criminal investigation, law enforcement, border patrol and special forces operations.
Technologies
*In 1997 ATN Corp introduced the patented Smart Total Darkness Technology. Devices that use this technology have a built-in micro-computer that turns the device on when brought up to the user's eye and shuts it off when removed.
*White Phosphor Technology© (WPT©) is a technology that allows users to see black and white image instead of green and white and includes typical resolution 68lp/mm and signal-to-noise ratio of 25. Devices using WPT© were tested and recommended by National Tactical Officer's Association (NTOA) and Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.
*Everlight and Proshield lens coatings prevent devices from glare and scratches and provide the same sharp image in bright or low-light conditions.
