American Diplomacy is a peer-reviewed open-access academic journal published by American Diplomacy Publishers in cooperation with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill College of Arts and Sciences' Curriculum in Peace, War, and Defense, and with the Triangle Institute of Security Studies consortium. It covers the foreign policy, diplomacy, and Foreign Service of the United States. The journal publishes analytical commentary, memoirs of the Foreign Service, and book reviews. History The journal was established in 1996. For the first five years it was volume- and issue-numbered. The editor-in-chief is Beatrice Camp. Previous editors have been Henry Ellis Mattox (1996-2007, founding editor), J.R. Bullington (2007-2009), William Kiehl (2009-2011), and Csaba Chikes (2011-2018). Abstracting and indexing The journal is abstracted and indexed in PAIS International, Political Science Complete, and vLex.
