History
Amazing Discoveries began in 1993 in Delta, British Columbia, Canada, after forging a relationship with South African Professor Walter Veith, who would become their keynote speaker.
The first seminar, Genesis Conflict & Truth Matters, took place at George Massey Theatre in New Westminster, British Columbia. Over 1200 people attended on opening night. The seminar was repeated in Burnaby, BC, in 1994. Since then, over a dozen seminar series have been presented and produced as videos by Amazing Discoveries.
In 1993 they also published their first newsletter, Treasure Uncovered, which was renamed Faith on the Line in 1997, and became a full-color glossy magazine in 2008.
Throughout the 1990s and early 2000s Professor Veith and other Amazing Discoveries evangelists continued to give seminars throughout Canada and the United States, while Amazing Discoveries launched its first website, www.amazingdiscoveries.org, in 2000.
Amazing Discoveries Europe division began in 2003, and translates material into several languages including Spanish, Russian, Polish, German, and Romanian.
In 2005, the next website, amazinghealth.org (now amazinghealth.com) was launched.
Also in 2005, Canadian Pastor Victor Gill began missionary and humanitarian work in Ukraine on behalf of Amazing Discoveries. He has also initiated projects in India since 2009, and visits both countries often on behalf of the Ministry.
In May 2010 Amazing Discoveries began broadcasting their materials to North and Central America and the Caribbean through Galaxy 19 satellite television.
Amazing Discoveries employs more than a dozen staff, distributing DVDs and publications for sale throughout North America and hosting seminars around the globe. Veith’s series are being broadcast internationally in Spanish and English on satellite television, with new languages on the horizon.
