Amarachi Orjinma is a Nigerian footballer who plays as a striker for Rivers Angels F.C.. She previously played for Pelican Stars F.C., where she was the top scorer in the 2014 Nigeria Women Premier League. Career Orjinma played for Pelican Stars in the 2014 Nigeria Women Premier League and was the league's top scorer with 17 goals. The same year, she was listed as one of the best talents in Nigerian women football by SL10.ng. Orjinma was signed with Rivers Angels ahead of the 2015 Nigeria Women Premier League. In May 2016, Orjinma was nominated as player of the month for the ongoing 2016 Nigeria Women Premier League, having scored 2 goals in May. At national level, Orjinma represents Nigeria at the junior level. At the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup qualifiers, Orjinma scored two goals for against Liberia in the second round of qualifiers. In the return leg, she was also on target to seal qualification to the next round for the Falconets. |
