Alysha Noel Harris (born December 25, 1987) is an American beauty queen from La Grange who competed in the Miss USA pageant in 2008. Harris is the daughter of Gregory C. Harris and Hope Winburn. She is bi-racial, half black and white. Harris graduated from Carroll County High School, where she played basketball and ran cross country, in 2006. After graduation, she enrolled at the University of Kentucky.<ref name=cchs /> Harris won the Miss Kentucky USA 2008 title in a state pageant held in Somerset, Kentucky, in January 2008 and was crowned by Michelle Banzer, who held the Miss Kentucky USA 2007 title.<ref name=cchs /> This was Harris's first attempt at the title, as well as her first pageant ever. Harris represented Kentucky in the Miss USA 2008 pageant that was held in the spring of 2008 at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her sister titleholder is Shannen Reil, Miss Kentucky Teen USA 2008. |
