Altogen Biosystems is an American biotechnology company headquartered in Austin, Texas, that specializes in delivering genes into mammalian and bacterial cells using polymeric, lipid- and nanotech-based and also traditional methods and manufacturing its transfection kits. Altogen also manufactures cell line specific transfection reagents and providing Pre-clinical CRO services. Altogen offers siRNA transfection into individual cell lines from more than 40 pre-optimized reagents. Altogen has started exploring whether its transfection technologies can be used to deliver siRNA-based drugs.
