Almeera Jiwa, born 1984, is a Canadian director, film and theatre actress in Vancouver, British Columbia. Jiwa is present in the Vancouver Bollywood scene but is most known for her work in theatre. She has worked with companies such as Touchstone Theatre, Arts Club Theatre Company, and Carousel Theatre. Recently she performed at the Persephone Theatre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, in the Jessie Richardson Theatre Award winning show, The Big League. She is a teacher at Arts Umbrella and a regular anthem singer at BC Lions games and Canadian citizenship ceremonies. She has also performed for Prince Edward at the The Duke of Edinburgh's Award.
