Alex Selsky

Alex Selsky (born 1977) is an Israeli PR professional, social activist, and current CEO of the World Forum of Russian-Speaking Jewry. Until recently he served as the Russian language media adviser of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and was a spokesman for the National Economic Council in the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel.
Early Life
Alex (Alexander) Selsky was born in Ufa, USSR (today Russia) to a Jewish family, both sides refugees from Poland and Ukraine during the Holocaust. He made Aliyah to Israel alone, through the Naale Elite Academy program, in 1993 at the age of 16, and his family joined him 6 years later.
From 2010-2013 he served as the Russian language media adviser of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and a spokesman for the National Economic Council in the office of the Prime Minister of Israel, headed by Proff. Eugene Kandel. ,
In June 2013 he left the government to become the CEO of the World Forum of Russian Jewry, worldwide non-profit organization, centered in Jerusalem, fostering the connection between the State of Israel and the Russian speaking Jewish Diaspora. The President of the World Forum of Russian Jewry is the American - Ukrainian businessman and philanthropist Alexander Levin.
As his reserve duty in IDF, Mr. Selsky is responsible for emergency information in Russian language at the Home Front Command.
