Alex Rafael Rose

Alex Rafael Rose (born 18 April 1997) is a British musician, film director, screenwriter, futurist philosopher, and freelance journalis<nowiki/>t. Rose has released two EPs, Scar Tissue and i am the ocean., and written and directed three short films, it's lonely being the sun, [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4980100/?ref_=nm_flmg_dr_2 Entourage: (a modern fairytale, of sorts.),] and The Worm. His films have been selected for many film festivals all around the world, including IndiEarth XChange India, Chennai , The Utopia Film Festival , London Shows Film Festival , and screened at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, LACMA, for the 2015 edition of the Los Angeles International Children's Film Festival. In August 2015 Rose organised and screened two premieres of his short films with a Q and A at Arch1 Film Festival.
Rose is also a political activist and freelance journalist. In 2015, he campaigned with Jeremy Corbyn, Owen Jones, Dianne Abbott , and Lindsey German, for the 20th June Anti-Austerity Demonstration for . He has also worked with Russell Brand, giving a talk with him on Transhumanism and the Philosophy of Futurist Evolution and Human Enhancement, and is a filmmaker and journalist for The People's Assembly .
Personal life
Alex Rafael Rose grew up in London. He writes poetry, regularly performs in the UK, acts for theatre, and reads philosophy in his spare time. He is also an artist. He is a vegetarian, and played at the Kent Vegan Festival, UK in 2015.
