Alex Chow Mittal (born 1985) is the founder and CEO of FundersClub. FundersClub is an online fundraising platform that allows investors to find and fund start-ups which have been vetted. Early life and education In 2002, at age 17, Mittal presented his research on nanotechnology at the Nobel Prize Award Ceremonies in Stockholm. His research looked into DNA nanotechnology and the possibility of creating self-assembling nano-structures made of artificial DNA. The ultimate goal would be to create computers and other devices that could self-assemble. In 2003 the MIT Lincoln Laboratory’s Near-Earth Asteroid research program named an asteroid which was discovered in 1998 after Mittal. and degrees in economics and engineering from Wharton and the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a graduate of Y Combinator. He attended the Greenwich High School in Greenwich, Connecticut. Crederity, and FundersClub. He founded FundersClub with Boris Silver on July 25, 2012. He serves on the boards of these three companies.
