Aleem-Ud-Din Khan

Aleem-Ud-Din Khan (urdu: ) is a Advocate by profession, senior Advocate High Court, and a key leader of the Lawyers. He is also a politician and famous businessman.
Early life and education
Aleem-Ud-Din Khan, the third son of Sharif Ud Din Khan, was born 4 November 1950, in Eminabad, Gujranwala District, Punjab. Aleem Ud Din khan was the youngest among his 7 siblings. He has one brother who is a Lawyer. He comes from a family background steeped in politics. He received his early education from Government Science College, Lahore. He holds LLB degree from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, in 1975.
Khan is married and has four sons, one daughter, and one granddaughter. His eldest son, Wajhi-Ud-Din Khan, started his own political career from Lahore. His three other sons - Zaki-Ud-Din Khan, who got Master degree from Heriott Watt University, Dr. Sabhi-Ud-Din Khan who is Doctor in punjab Institute of Cardiology and Razi Khan—are currently studying abroad. His daughter is named Uzma Sherwani. Khan are the major landowners of More Eminabad, Gujranwala who owned about 70 acres of land and major Investments in Lahore.
Political career
Aleem-Ud-Din Khan started his political career in the early 1970s from college life. when Bhutto's criticism of the final agreement caused a major rift between him and Ayub Khan. On January 2, 1972 Bhutto announced the nationalisation of all major industries, including iron and steel, heavy engineering, heavy electricals, petrochemicals, cement and public utilities. Khan Family lost of M/S SAMANA RICE MILLS. After major lost in business then Khan decided to participate into elections. Khan was a candidate in the 1977 and 1990 parliamentary election for a seat from Gujranwala (PP-98). Khan boycotted the non-party elections of 1985 held by General Zia-ul-Haq — led military regime in line with the decision of his party. He joined the Central Working Committee of the Pakistan Muslim League (PML) during Nawaz Sharif period.
He served Pakistan Muslim League as Joint Secretary Punjab in General Pervez Musharraf rule. He was supported to Pakistan Muslim League candidate in National Assembly seat of NA-98 and Provisional Assemble seat of PP-98, but lost. Khan subsequently accepted the PML-Q's defeat in the election and said that it was free and fair.
Social work
After the education, Khan focused his efforts solely on social work. in 1985, he had founded the Jamiah Habibia mosque bearing the name of his mother.
