Aldo Grippaldi

Aldo Grippaldi (Catania, 1972) is a car designer, driver and sport entrepreneur.
He is known in boardsports since late 90s, being himself a Pro Street Luger, multi-sport events Organizer, Publisher and sporting goods Manufacturer.
He had invented and contributed to the grow of two sports, the Board Bungee, within his patent of bungees with handlebar, and the Freeboard, snowboard on pavement with six wheeled roller boards. The most representative figure in Italy for downhill skateboarding since his official invitation to ESPN X-Games in 1998, the following individual promotion in his Country, the Italian Championship and the organization of IGSA NA races and sport shows.
He has matured as Car Designer at Centro Stile (Arese, Milan) between 1995-96 and showed up a FIAT CAP race car season in 1997 with two victories and podiums, ending with the invite of CSAI at the Race of Champions at Motor Show in Bologna, in December. In a following race cars show in Forlì he knew about US Street Luge great racing, and his career began. Graduated in Environmental Sciences at Bologna University in 2000, he immediately started his own company Broox, which today owns Gravitis brand.
