Alana Lee Hamilton (born January 12, 1997) is an American pop singer who attracted media attention in the wake of Rebecca Black's "Friday," with her own 2011 single "Butterflies". Like Friday, the song was co-written and produced by Clarence Jey and Patrice Wilson of ARK Music Factory. For her musical releases, she uses the name Alana Lee, whereas in film and television series, she is identified as Alana Hamilton. Career Lee's single "Butterflies" was released in 2011. Like "Friday", the song was co-written and produced by Clarence Jey and Patrice Wilson of ARK Music Factory. It currently has around 11 million views on YouTube. Alana is signed with 37 records, an indie label. Lee's second single, "Synchronize," was released in August 2011. "Synchronize" was written by Steven McClintock and Grammy-Nominated lyricist Pamela Oland. She is currently working on a 6 song EP, which will include the tracks "Synchronize," "It's Nothing Personal," "This Is Me," "Drive Me" and "Turn It Up." Also included will be a remix of "Butterflies." She has not reached any charts.
