Alan J. Baverman

Alan J. Baverman (born May 19, 1956) is a U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Northern District of Georgia. Alan J. Baverman is known for having presided over the pretrial proceedings of the criminal case of rap star T.I.,, for having been Roy Cicola's criminal attorney in the Gold Club Case, for his judicial involvement in the case of three elite United States Army Rangers arrested and charged with planning to rob drug traffickers, and for having a rare formation of a judicial investigative committee appointed to investigate criminal allegations against him.

Alan J. Baverman was born May 19, 1956 in Baltimore, Maryland.
Professor
After becoming a magistrate judge, and at the request of Mark Kadish, Alan Baverman went to work for Georgia State University under the supervision of Mark J. Kadish.
