Akosua Amo-Adem

Akosua Amo-Adem is a Ghanaian-Canadian actress, writer, and play director.
Early life and education
At age five, she emigrated from Ghana to Canada, and grew up in the Willowdale and Rexdale neighborhoods of Toronto. Before becoming an actress, she had considered a career in social work.
In 2018, a reviewer for the The Globe and Mail called Amo-Adem "a black actor who carries all the characters she incarnates with great power."
In 2021, she directed Keith Barker's audio drama Every Minute of Every Day.
Television
Amo-Adem appeared in several episodes of the sitcom Kim's Convenience as Stacie, a co-worker of Simi Liu's Jung.
