AKM Nazmul Hasan

AKM Nazmul Hasan ndc, psc is a Major General of Bangladesh Army and General Officer Commanding of 11th Infantry Division & Area Commander, Bogura Area.
Career
Nazmul Hasan was commissioned in Bangladesh Army on 24 June 1988 with 18th Bangladesh Military Academy Long Course.
Nazmul Hasan is presently a Major General and the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 11th infantry division based at the Bogra Cantonment. In November 2020, his command hosted the awarding of regimental colors to four army units by the Army Training and Doctrine Commander, then-Lieutenant General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed. His tenure has also seen the construction and inauguration of new offices for the District Armed Forces Board.
Other roles that Nazmul Hasan presently holds include the Chairmanship of the Governing Body of the Army Medical College, Bogura and the Chief patron of The Armoured Corps Center & School (ACC&S) at Majira Cantonment, Bogura. Nazmul Hasan is one of the twelve-member Board of Trustees of the Bangladesh Army University of Engineering & Technology, which is chaired by the Bangladeshi Army Chief of Staff, General Shafiuddin Ahmed. He was the chief guest at the Bangladesh Army Basketball Tournament 2021 held in Bogura.
In December 2021, Hasan handed over a check from the Royal Commonwealth Ex-Services League to widows of former British Indian Army soldiers in Bogura.
