History
In Azerbaijan, the beginning of its development takes from 1990. Aikido Federation of Azerbaijan (FAA), was officially registered in 1994. Founder of Aikido in Azerbaijan - Farhad Alasgarov.
Aikido Club in Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan Aikido incorporates a variety of clubs located in cities Baku, Ganja, Mingechevir, Oguz, Shaki, Shamkir. Every year there are held republican, regional, international and instructor workshops. Federation members participated in international seminars in Aikido.
Structure building
Aikido - two-storey building where there are 3 gyms total area of the mat 264 m2.Instructors hold training - in child, adolescent, female, advanced groups.
Objectives Aikido Federation in Azerbaijan
* Develop Aikido in Azerbaijan adhering to the spirit and philosophy of Aikido founder Morihei Ueshiba.
* To develop friendly relations among peoples, irrespective of nationality and religion.
* Contribute to a better society through the training of body and spirit, practice Aikido.
