Aidan Mullins

Aidan Mullins, is a Irish-born Irish politician. He is currently standing for election as the Sinn Féin candidate in Portarlington, Laois, Ireland.
He works locally as a Health and Safety Consultant and was the driving force behind the hugely successful Portarlington Community Development Association (PCDA) which under his stewardship as Chairperson, worked to improve the lives of local people throughout the past seven years, completing projects such as Portarlington Enterprise Centre, the local Community Centre and Jobs Club, and the provision of alarm systems for the Elderly. As Chairperson, Aidan led negotiations with the ESB which secured €850,000 in funding to support local community projects, organisations and clubs.
Aidan is a known campaigner for employment and enterprise in the Portarlington area and identifies that local job creation, the provision of local and affordable and social housing, as well as a lack of youth facilities as areas requiring urgent attention in Portarlington and County Laois.
