According to the aewm home page, aewm is written all-lowercase, but stands for "An Exiguous Window Manager". Features Features of the aewm window manager include: * Stacking windows * Configurable root menu * Support for plugin modules * Titlebar has a close button * Program launch via aemenu * Written in C * No multiple desktop support * No theme support * Requires a 3 button mouse * sloppyfocus Modules The aewm window manager can utilize the following plugin modules: * aemenu * aepanel * aesession * aedesk Derivatives Because of its learnable EWMH and ICCCM code, aewm has also served as the starting point for a large number of popular window managers for X.
