The Aerogarden, manufactured by Aerogrow, is a product created to provide an aeroponic and hydroponic growth environment for plant life. Although most models of the Aerogarden are accompanied with prepackaged seed sets, the Aerogarden Deluxe model comes with a Master Gardener kit, allowing users to grow many other varieties of vegetation. Reviews According to Australia's Choice magazine, consumers can expect to pay approximately $405 in initial product cost and maintenance for their first year of an Aerogarden. Choice rules that the Aerogarden may not be the most cost-effective solution for the average gardener, but said that it has its advantages. "The Aerogarden, while far more expensive than an everyday indoor herb garden kit, is ideal if you want a small, clean, high-tech indoor garden all year round," the magazine wrote. "It all seemed a little sci-fi antiseptic, but three days later, the blend of seven lettuces began to sprout," Milioti wrote. "Within three weeks, I had a fluffy bouquet of fresh leaves, which tasted great."
