The Advanced Data Hub (ADH) is the next generation, high performance, component that supports publishing onto the Thomson Reuters Enterprise Platform for Real-Time (TREP-RT) backbone. The Advanced Data Hub offers significant performance improvements over the Market Data Hub (MDH) or the Source Distributor (src_dist) by adding support for multiple threads. This is one of the major components of the TREP-RT enterprise messaging system. This component typically receives data from a feedhandler or data provider in 2 possible ways. * over multicast (Non-Interactive Publishing) * over TCP channels (RSSL or SSL mount) This component delivers the provided data based on interest to downstream connected ADS or P2PS. This software component is designed to send data to a large number of distribution components and inter-operates with RTIC, ADS and additional ADH components to provide fail over, resiliency and cache recovery to protect against failures. Today the ADH supports RWF and Marketfeed message types and will convert between these 2 seamlessly.
