Dr Adrian Heald is the Labour candidate for the Parliamentary constituency of Crewe and Nantwich. Heald is employed as a Consultant Physician in Diabetes and Endocrinology by Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.. He has a particular interest in diabetes and has published a care satisfaction audit of a nurse-led diabetes clinic. Heald was born and brought up in Fleetwood, Lancashire and later studied chemistry and medicine at Oxford University and Manchester University. He has lived in Nantwich since October 2006. He was the Labour candidate for Macclesfield in the 2010 General Election. In September 2014 he lent his support to the campaign to preserve Lincoln House, a residential establishment run by Cheshire East Council. He has also called for the re-opening of Willaston railway station, closed in the 1960's.
