Alexis Prunczik Ilisoi (born 27 June 1996), known by her stage name Adoette, is a commercial model, indie singer, and songwriter from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Adoette writes her own music about events or situations that inspire her, including setbacks that occurred throughout her life. Though she had guitar lessons at a young age, she began her interest in songwriting when her father died of a heart attack in 2008 and experienced a head-on car accident in 2013 and suffered from a broken femur while her mother and sister were severely injured. Because of these experiences, Adoette decided to write music inspired by setbacks or difficult situations people may encounter including her own to transition them into a message of hope and happiness. In 2009, Adoette began performing live at the annual Dogwood Festival in Fayetteville, NC and was a contestant for the South East Talent Search in 2012. In 2013, Adoette created her first YouTube channel where she uploads her original music, covers, and multiple vlogs. She was featured in an article on the front page of the Hope Mills Sandspur newspaper in September 2013, performed live twice on WFNC 640AM radio station, and was featured in two news stories on WRAL and ABC with other students from a high school talent show in memory of a freshman student and teacher who died in 2014. Two of Adoette's original songs including "Remedy" and "Your Song" are featured in indie film director Chris Maney's horror film, The Hollow Oak, which she also played an extra role in. She has worked with many professional photographers for commercial and concept modeling. Adoette's first music video "Remedy" directed by Michael J. Lockridge was released on her birthday, June 27, 2016.
