Ademuyiwa Adebola

Adebola pronounced aa-DEH-BowLaa (born Ademuyiwa Adebola Taofeek on 6 November 1991) is a Nigerian Digital Communicator, blogger, panel speaker, socio-economic, and political commentator. In 2018, he was named PALEC's Youth and Education Advocate of the Year and was appointed the Lagos State coordinator for the Buhari New Media Center.
Early life and education
Adebola is from Ikire, Osun State. He was born in Iseyin, Oyo State, and was raised there and in Lagos State. His father was a Military Officer and Adebola grew up in the Ikeja Military Cantonment and one of the survivors of the Ikeja Bomb blast. He attended the Lagos State Polytechnic and studied Food Technology. Digital skills knowledge acquisition brought a change to Adebola's life for the better and he gives back to communities through his initiatives. He had opined that fixing primary and secondary school education for children is the best foundational base for Nigeria's education system.
Career
Adebola has written blogposts for Opera News Hub, Nigerian Bulletin, PrecisionNG, Abusidiqu and the UnilagEfiwe blogs and had been published on omojuwa.com, an online opinion paper published by Japheth J. Omojuwa.
He was selected by the PALEC Awards due to his advocacy work, and he was awarded PALEC Adebola recommended "I Am Malala: How One Girl Stood Up for Education and Changed the World" by Nobel Prize winner, Malala Yousafzai, as one of the best books to read on child education. In 2018, he was appointed the Lagos State coordinator for the Buhari Center, a new media initiative for President Muhammadu Buhari's administration.
TAIFED
TAIFED is an initiative that teaches school children digital skills. Founded in 2014, Taofeek had taught over 1000 school children in Egan and Ilero areas in Southwest Nigeria. Before TAIFED, Adebola was the Public Relations Officer (PRO) for a now rested Better Nigeria Youth Forum. He facilitates the training of school children in photography, cinematography, programming, bead making, baking, digital marketing, graphics design, and programming.
TAIFED uses hashtags to launch their advocacy campaigns. #MaskUpEgan was for distribution of free face masks to the Egan community in Igando, Alimosho LGA in Lagos State at the rise of the COVID19 incidence, #OneChildAtATime I (2015) & II (2018) was for the distribution of writing materials and textbooks to school children at Ilero community, Ipokia LGA, Ogun State and Egan Junior Secondary School’s Library, Igando, Alimosho LGA, Lagos State.
