Adel Paul Boulad

Adel Paul BOULAD, born in 1951 in Ismailia, Egypt is a doctor in Physics, coach, and martial arts expert. He is the main animator of Modern Tahtib through his non profit organisation "Association SEIZA".
Professional career
After completing his Geochemistry PhD in 1975 under the supervision of Claude Allegre at the University Paris 7, Adel P. Boulad pursued a academic career before switching to a successfull business management career in various IT companies.
In 2001, capitalizing in his coaching and management experience, he founded the company PLI, specializing in operational coaching for Corporate leaders and managers.
Martial Arts
While in University Paris 7, Adel P Boulad was the main animator of the karate section of the University's sports association. He graduated as an accredited Professor of Martial Arts in 1976 and subsequently founded in 1978 "Association Seiza" a non-profit organisation dedicated to the interdisciplinary practice of martial arts, especially karate, aikido, iaido and .
Modern Tahtib
In 2007, Adel P Boulad, began the development of Modern Tahtib, modernizing and retrieving the original values of this ancestral
egyptian martial art. This includes animating courses both in Egypt (Schools is Cairo, Minya) and in France.
In march 2010, he planned and organized the first demonstration of this martial art in the International Martial Arts Festival in Paris-Bercy, the first international training in Middle Egypt. In June 2012, he organized the first Tahtib congress in l'Ecole du Louvre.
Between 2010 and 2013, Adel P Boulad established a protocol with Egyptian Ministry of Culture, and in 2013 he was given mandate, by the Egyptian Ministry of Sports, to develop Modern Tahtib as sporting Activity. Also in 2013, he designed and realized the first manual of Modern Tahtib. The same year, Tahtib began the filing process at UNESCO Intangible Heritage.
