Adam Martin

Adam Martin (born 18 March 1989 in Watford) is an English footballer playing as midfielder for the League of Ireland Premier Division side Bohemians
Career
Martin began his career in the youth team at Watford but after being released in late January 2007 went on to play for local rivals Hemel Hempstead town fc in the Southern League. He became the league's youngest ever captain aged just 18 as 'the Tudors' lost out in a league playoff semi-final penalty shootout.
In February 2008, Hemel rejected an offer from Milton Keynes Dons for the central midfielder and in the following season Martin played a number of reserve team games with Gillingham before 'the Gills' revealed they too were unsuccessful in agreeing a deal for the player to join the club the following season.
In July 2010, after an injury disrupted season, Martin featured for AFC Wimbledon throughout there 2010/2011 pre-season campaign, scoring one goal. He was unsuccessful at earning a contract with the club, and in August 2010, Martin was signed by St Albans City for an undisclosed fee. He made 31 appearances for the club before he signed for Slough Town FC scoring on 3 occasions.
In January 2012 Martin snubbed two offers from conference premier clubs to remain with Slough, but in February 2012, Martin signed for Bohemians after impressing in there 2012 pre-season schedule.
On the 21st Ferbruary, Martin scored the winning goal on his debut against Portadown FC in the Setanta Cup.
Martin plays primarily as a central midfielder, but is comfortable playing on either wing and has also proved capable in his career playing at right full-back, he also is known for having a very good first touch.
