Adam Edwards III

Adam Edwards III (born May 9, 1980) is a former college American football player who played for Oklahoma State in 1996, 1998 and 1999 before changing careers to several areas of business, which includes franchising and investing.

Education and career
A graduate from Oklahoma State University with B.S. degrees in Health Promotions, Business Management, and Criminal Justice, Edwards played college football at Oklahoma State in 1996, 1998, and 1999. He also signed with the Dallas Cowboys but was released in August 2000 before the 2000 NFL season began. He started working in business in 2002. A self-titled “Franchapreneur,” Edwards was first interested in business by starting a neighborhood lawn mowing service at the age of ten using his father’s tools.
Business Ventures
Right after his retirement, Edwards became a sales consulting at Johnson & Johnson, during which he received continued recognition for his performance. Edwards then partnered with a team of NFL investors in 2003 to start his first business venture, a business consulting firm in Oklahoma, which eventually developed to other locations across the United States.
In 2009, Edwards sponsored the creation of Hunger Relief International (HRI), a global non-profit that tries to address the global hunger crisis by providing food and supplies to malnourished children. HRI currently feeds over 50 families monthly in both Haiti and Guatemala.

In 2011, his investment firm The Nspire Group obtained the franchise rights for Golden Heart Senior Care of Oklahoma, a senior care service with over 18 state franchises. Edwards also founded and oversees recruitment and business development for iMatch Franchise, an independent franchise brokerage firm, with his wife Sarah Edwards. The firm aims to educate entrepreneurs and match them with franchises that align with their interests.
In 2013, Edwards founded Waters Edge Winery with his wife. Waters Edge Winery is a part winery and part wine bar that serves custom wine along with premium cigars, and offers live entertainment on an urban patio. Nicknamed the first “Urban Winery Franchise,” Waters Edge Winery has won the following awards:
