ActiveBatch is an Enterprise Job Scheduling and Workload Automation software solution used to automate business and IT processes into composite workflows across systems. Advanced Systems Concepts, Inc., headquartered in Morristown, New Jersey, United States, is the developer of ActiveBatch Enterprise Job Scheduling Workload Automation Software.
ActiveBatch automates Business and IT Processes across various platforms including Windows, Linux, Unix, OpenVMS, z/OS, IBM iSeries and others. The ActiveBatch architecture is events-based and also provides traditional batch processing for date/time scheduling.
History
First released by Advanced Systems Concepts as Batch Queue Management System (BQMS) in 1998, the software was originally used to automate scripts on and across Windows Servers . In 2000, BQMS was re-introduced as ActiveBatch V3, a cross-platform job scheduling solution. The current version available is ActiveBatch V8.
