Acorn spinning is an unofficial sport played mainly for fun and by students at schools. It may be used to pass time when bored or to challenge another spinner for glory. In extreme cases acorn spinning is even used as a test of manliness. How to Choose an Acorn When choosing your acorn there is no real technique to finding a good one without putting forth great time and effort. However it is very important not to choose one that is lopsided or uneven because it will cause the acorn to spin in an irregular pattern. It also may be helpful to choose a small acorn but small acorns do not always spin well and are very unpredictable. Since acorns are generally unpredictable spinners it is usually best to collect many and then test them all until you find the perfect one. |
