Acorn Mountain Park

Acorn Mountain Park is a park for biking, hiking and fun in the northeastern tip of Massachusetts It was established in April 2004. The park consists on over a dozen trails for hiking and biking and a few forts for relaxing in. runs through the park. The Merrimack River, Burnside Streams and Acorn Streams flow through the park as well.
Trails
The Trails on Acorn Mountain are cleared then paved down for the bikes to get traction. In 2013, the idea to connect all trails in the park to make one was launched and today the rangers, trail crew and the Chief Executive Officer go into the woods of Acorn Mountain Park to create the trail that is expected to be completed and opened in the late summer days of 2014. When the rangers aren't working on the connector trail, they are at the Pine Mountain Biking Terrain Park riding mountain and trick bikes over the circle trail of the terrain park. The terrain park includes a ramp, a jump and a fort named the Pine Mountain Fort'(see "Forts" below.)
