Abhishek Saha is a journalist from Assam. He was Born and brought up in Guwahati, Assam, he graduated as a civil engineer from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi before switching over to journalism.He studied print journalism at the Asian College of Journalism, Chennai. Abhishek Saha covers northeastern India for The Indian Express. He was the Kashmir correspondent for the Hindustan Times from December 2015 to April 2018. He wad a student of the Print Stream, ACJ 2013-14, has won the Prestigious Ramnath Goenka Award for Excellence in Journalism 2016 in the category of Reporting from J&K and North-East. Saha won a Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Award for his coverage of the Kashmir unrest of 2016. |
