Abhay Agrawal

Dr. Abhay Agrawal was born on 6th October 1969 in Mumbai. He is educated in Master of Surgery (MS), FMBS (Bariatric & Metabolic, USA), FALS, FIAGES, FRS (Robotic surgery) is a pioneer of Laparoscopic Bariatric Surgery in India.
EDUCATION
Dr Abhay studied and completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum, Karnataka. He continued to study further and complete his Masters in Surgery from the Lokmanya Tilak Municipal General Hospital (LTMG) Mumbai. Further on he went to complete his Post MS Fellowship in Bariatric Surgery from USA
CAREER
Dr Abhay entered the field of Bariatric Surgery during its evolving phase and has played a large role in the direction this field has taken since then.
Currently, he runs the Department of Bariatric Surgery at SevenHills Hospital in Mumbai.
