After struggling for opportunities for more than 2 years, Abeer created a parody of popular Tamil song Why This Kolaveri Di. The lyrics of the song, Why This Hera Pheri Ji (Why This Corruption Sir?) were catchy and aimed at corrupt regime of Congress led UPA Government. Vajpayee had sung this song in the voices of Manmohan Singh, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Anna Hazare and Amar Singh. The Sonia Gandhi Voice in the beginning was done by his wife Ruchi. The song was released on YouTube on 19 January 2012 and immediately went viral. Coincidentally, this was the time when Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections and the song also gathered attention of BJP Vice President Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi who was then incharge of UP Elections. He released the song on 23 January 2012 as an official song of BJP.
Modi Aane Wala Hai
Modi Aane Wala Hai was the official campaign song of Bhartiya Janta Party during Indian general election, 2014. It was released on BJP National Executive Council meet in 19 January 2014. Written & Composed by Vajpayee and sung by noted Bollywood singer Udit Narayan, the song created a larger than life image of Narendra Modi, the BJP candidate for Prime Minister.
The success of the song was its catchy lyrics that carried hope and a confidence that Modi will definitely become Prime Minister. Soon after the release of the song a 25-second chunk from the song was edited and made available as caller tune that was downloaded by a number of BJP workers. This caller tune also attracted the ire of Congress Party which knew that it was on the verge of losing elections badly.
