Muhammad Abdus Sobhan Chowdhury, is a Bangladeshi lawyer and politician. He was the President of the Awami League party in Bagmara Upazila. Events Radical Islamic killings In 2004, Bangla Bhai's men killed his relative, Yasin Ali Mridha, a local political leader and drove him from his residence In 2009, he said "Bangla Bhai’s cadres ransacked my house and drove my family out of home in 2004. Still, I was not considered a victim." Section 144 Unlawful Assembly In 2010, after being ousted he called a meeting against an opponent of the same party. Apprehending deterioration of law and order, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Bagmara Upazila imposed Section 144 around the premises and at surrounding areas. |
