Dr.Abdul Ruff Colachal (born Colachal, Tamil Nadu, India) is a research scholar at International Studies of Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India, and has been an analyst, a commentator-cum-columnist in international newspapers in English. Ruff writes on subjects varying from Indian politics to international relations, foreign policy matters, climate change, economics, state-sponsored terrorism and sports, etc. He is critical of human right evasions world over, especially in India with regards to Muslim minority in the country. Hindus criticize Ruff for defending Muslims’ cause in India. Ruff has served in India in various capacities, but had been a faculty member of Jawaharlal Nehru University, University of Mysore and the ciefl from where he sought voluntary retirement |
