Abdul Raouf Khan

Abdul Rauof Khan is the Haqparsat Taluka City Nazim (Mayor) of Nawabshah. Raouf Khan is popular as the outstanding mayor in the history of Nawabshah; He is a member of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM); which is one of the main stream political parties of Pakistan.
Raouf Khan sworn in as the Taluka City Nazim, Nawabshah in 2005 as Nawabshah Town is located in a zone where under ground water is very brackish, unhygienic and therefore totally unfit for human consumption; Khan immediately launched variety of schemes to put water supply lines in order, installed water filtration plants to provide safe and healthy water, and permanent solution-oriented drainage infrastructure has been laid down; all the streets of the union councils of Taluka Nawabshah have been adorned with new roads, moreover, the road network has been expend to the villages around the city to take them on board in advancement
Biography
Raouf Khan born in Nawabshah in 1969. He intermediated in 1986 from Government Sachal Sarmast College Nawabshah and then went to Karachi and graduated in Biology from University of Karachi in 1991.
Inclusion in MQM
Raouf Khan joined MQM in 1986 at the age of 17. He contested in the 1996’s National Assembly Election from Nawabshah NA-166. In March 2005 he was appointed as a special assistant to Chief Minster Sindh later in October 2005 Abdul Raouf Khan was elected as the Taluka City Nazim Nawabshah.
