Abdul Khaliq Aladdin (or Abd al-Khaliq Ala al-Din) is a contemporary Kurdish writer from the Southern Area of Kurdistan. Abdul Kahliq Aladdin born in Koya town, his father "Aladdin" and a well-known "Mustafa Aga" entitled as "aga" as beloved and respectable individual among Kurdish people, especially the region which he travelled and lived. Abdul Khaliq Aladdin's recent book Nawdarani Kurd (Famous Kurds) was published 2006, written in Kurdish Sorani. He is also the author of Dildar the biography of Yûnis Reuf, whose popular poem "Ey Reqîb" is nowadays considered as an official Kurdish National Anthem.
