Abby Francis is a British actress, born in York (North Yorkshire) and currently living in Tunbridge Wells, Kent with her husband, actor Steven Hartley, and their child. She trained at Drama Centre London. Her TV work includes Waking The Dead, Strictly Confidential, New Tricks and Hotel Babylon. Biography Francis was born in York and has a sister and brother. She grew up in a North Yorkshire village. She attended The Bar Convent Grammar School which eventually became All Saints. She moved to for sixth form. After completing an English BA Hons degree at Leicester University, Francis attended Drama Centre London for three years. Francis is married to actor Steven Hartley and lives in London with their daughter and cat Bisou. Francis runs for the TV Times Leukemia Research Running Team. She has completed a few London Marathons and half marathons and 10k races.
