Laura Kearsey is a British actress. Background Born in 1981, Kearsey gained a BA Higher Honors Degree in Drama and Theatre Arts from Goldsmiths, University of London. She also trained at The Actor’s Centre London. Career Kearsey made her stage debut in 2002 as part of the repertory troupe at The Battersea Arts Centre. In 2004, she appeared as "Donna Fish," a mentally challenged robbery victim, in one episode of the long-running ITV drama The Bill. Kearsey was in a 2005 UK tour of Kensuke's Kingdom with the Birmingham Stage Company. In 2006, Kearsey played Geain, the rebellious teen daughter of the main protagonists, in play Henceforward... at the Derby Playhouse. Kearsey is in a webisode series JakesPlace.tv, which is complete but has not yet been released. She has been cast in a feature film based on the series, entitled "Red is the Colour," due to start shooting in June 2009.
