Abante Cart

AbanteCart is a New Jersey-based e-commerce technology and business solution provider. It is a free open source electronic commerce shopping cart application and community based project. The AbanteCart platform provide custom solutions to online retailers. AbanteCart is licensed under the Open Software License (OSL) and its foundation is based on PHP and MySQL.
History
AbanteCart was established in Edgewater, New Jersey in 2010 by a group of e-commerce developers and was publicly released in 2011.
AbanteCart has built a list of clients that use the e-commerce platform for online retailing, marketing, and merchandising control.
In May 2012, AlgoZone, a graphics design company focused on designing and developing e-commerce templates and modules for many shopping cart solutions, signed a partnership deal with AbanteCart.
AbanteCart introduced change in its e-commerce platform in May 2013. The changes were focused on providing a more responsive storefront design.
Products
AbanteCart is a free web-based e-commercial application. It allows online retailers to create a custom shopping cart storefront by use of pre-designed templates.
It runs on either an Apache Web server or Microsoft’s Internet Information Server. It uses PHP v5.2+ and MySQL v4.1+.<ref name="BO"/> AbanteCart allows for different payment gateways such as Paypal, Authorize.NET, Google Checkout and real-time shipping services including FedEx, UPS, DHL/Airborne.<ref name="BO"/>
