Career The band formed in 2007, taking the name 'Abagail Grey' from a dream of Claire Campbell's. The 2009 debut album Long Case Clock Suspension was hailed by The Daily Record newspaper as “one of the best folk albums to come out of Scotland this year”. The album featured nine songs, all written by Claire Campbell (apart from the title track, written by Stephen Obern and Claire Campbell). The album was recorded at Banchory Studio in northeast Scotland and was produced by Chris Geddes of Belle & Sebastian.
