Aaron Herzberg

Aaron Herzberg (born 1969) is a partner at CalCann Holdings, Inc., a California medical marijuana real estate and licensing company with a portfolio of licensed medical marijuana businesses and properties in California. Herzberg is also a strategist, corporate lawyer, cannabis policy expert, and entrepreneur specializing in California’s nascent legal cannabis industry. He is a recipient of an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
Career
Herzberg was educated at the University of California, San Diego, and attended law school at Hastings College of the Law. Formerly practicing business and divorce law, he shifted his professional focus towards the cannabis industry after personally experiencing its efficacy in treating his Asperger's Syndrome.
In 2015, Mr. Herzberg was appointed to the city of Long Beach medical marijuana task force,
Herzberg has raised over $20 million in investment capital for his projects at CalCann since January 2015. These projects include two new licensed dispensaries in Santa Ana, CA known as “OC3” and “Bud and Bloom” as well as a 42,000 square foot municipally licensed cultivation and processing greenhouse facility in Desert Hot Springs, CA. The company is presently pursuing what may be the first marijuana cultivation and extraction facility in Los Angeles County— a 46,000 sq foot facility to cultivate and process cannabis concentrates located in the city of Lynwood, California.
Herzberg is a frequent media guest and contributor, and has been interviewed by The New York Times, Forbes, Rolling Stone, USA Today, and many other organizations for his opinions on the cannabis industry.
